While I am busy working on new projects, a handful of things I was involved in last year, have been released:
Marius Neset – Birds
A new album form the norwegian saxophone wizard.
A whole lot of good reviews so far.
The Guardian is happy about it. So is The Jazzmann.
Fallulah – Escapism
New album from danish artist Fallulah. Most of it is recorded at my studio.
I play some of the instruments.
If you ever wondered how an U67 sound of female vocal, listen to this.

Me and Søren mixed his beautiful album earlier this year.
It has got a lot of good reviews and press.
Two nominations for a Danish Music Award, a special award from Danish Art Council, and it has been voted one of the best albums of the year by Jazznyt. Congratulations Søren!
5 star review in Berlingske Tidene
Last spring, in a cottage on the swedish west coast, Lisen Rylander´s The Splendor and I spent a few days recording.
The outcome of these sessions became the album “Delphiand Palace”. Mixed in a rather untraditional manner, in Copenhagen in september.
Lisen Rylander – Saxophones/Electronics, Josef Kallerdahl – Bass, Fabian Kallerdahl – Keyboards, Lars Källfelt – Drums
Svenska Dagbladet likes it
I mixed a very nice electro-improvised album this summer. Duo Midaicondo team up with drummer Michala Østergaard-Nielsen and make faboulous sounds!
Helsingborgs Dagblad says “A forty-minute improvisation that probably get both Bjork and Laurie Anderson to raise an eyebrow”
Review in Gaffa (Swedish)
Marius album is out now, and it is doing pretty well:
5/5 Review in the Guardian
Review from Art Desk
5/5 Review in Daily Telegraph
And I made it on the front page of editionrecords.com! It is a short interview with yours truly, about music and recording.
Nils Berg Cinemascope just released the album ‘Popmotion’ on Hoob Records. Nils, Josef Kallerdahl and Christopher Cantillio play together with clips from youtube! Really nice concept. We mixed the album at my place.
Review in Sydsvenskan (in swedish)
New release from Josef & Erika. They celebrate 10 years as a band, and this is their 3rd release. We mixed and cut some vocals in my studio earlier this year. Check it out, wonderful songwriting, singing and playing. And heavy abuse of spring reverbs aswell…
Fabian Kallerdhal – Petter Eldh – Anton Eger
Super-Scandinavian collaboration. Spisa.org digs it: “en glad, tät och gött basig skiva med musik av Eldh, Kallerdahl, Neil Young, Boards of Canada och så klart Michael Jackson…”
